West Scotland Area Meeting
From 8 November 2025 West Scotland Area Meeting has passed on its Quaker and charity responsibilities to the new charity Quakers in Scotland. The Quaker membership of Friends belonging to the Area Meeting transfers to QiS, and details of meetings of QiS are linked from the QiS page. These pages remain as an archive until all is transferred to QiS headings.
WSAM has one remaining meeting scheduled in 2025, on Mon 1st December - this meeting will take place as planned.

West Scotland Area Meeting (previously West of Scotland Monthly Meeting) includes members of all the local meetings listed on the right. Click on the names for details of local meetings which hold meetings for worship, usually on Sundays. We are becoming part of Quakers in Scotland and will not be holding any more business meetings.
Area meetings in 2025
Saturday 18th January Glasgow/Milngavie and by Zoom. Glasgow Quaker Meeting House. 10.45 for 11am until 3.30pm
Monday 3rd March by Zoom
Saturday 26th April Dumfries and by Zoom
Monday 2nd June by Zoom
Saturday 23rd August Argyll and by Zoom
Saturday 11th October Stair Community Centre, Trabboch KA5 5HT Ayrshire and by Zoom
Monday 1st December by Zoom - this meeting will still take place.
Meeting for Worship at Faslane Naval Base 2025
There are large boulders that you can sit on but you might prefer to bring a folding chair.
We are usually joined by members of the Peace Camp.
