'Peace at the Heart' exhibition at the Scottish Parliament

The 'Peace at the Heart' exhibition, at the Parliament 26-28 September, attracted a good level of support and interest among MSPs, and 21 of them went onto sign a Parliamentary Motion calling for more backing and training for Peace education to broaden and build on existing good practice in Scottish schools. The PATH events produced some excellent networking with/between organisations already working in peace education and mediation training in education.  As PEWG we'll be doing our best to pursue the advocacy element of these new contacts while our Peace Ed BYM colleagues help to strengthen solidarity in this area of work and to promote its wider take-up across Scotland.
