Cuts letter
Monday, 21 March 2011
In January 2011, South-East Scotland Area Meeting considered if and how we should respond to cuts to services and benefits being proposed and implemented. I was asked to write a brief article for Scottish Friend to start the process of generating a Scottish response.
A group of Friends from South-East Scotland have now drafted a letter that expresses our concern about cuts and suggests that a greater proportion of tax collected from the relatively well-off in order to protect services for all. Please click on this link to open the letter, edit it as you see fit and send it to your MSPs and candidates in the forthcoming elections.
