PEWG responds to Land Reform Consultation

In September a group of Friends worked together to help PEWG respond to the government’s consultation, Land Reform in A Net Zero Nation. We’re hoping that this model of calling on a group with relevant expertise, may help PEWG to respond to opportunities that speak to our discerned concerns but where the relevant knowledge is not strong within the PEWG itself.
Land ownership and land use are fundamental in shaping our relationships with each other and with the natural world. To truly address the challenges identified in the consultation we need policies that encourage people to centre their care for the well-being of their human and non-human environment, and realise that our well-being depends on our responsibility and care for the land and each other.
