Quaker Quest
Quaker Quest
Quaker Quest is a programme that helps you to find out about the Quaker way of life. In May 2010, Glasgow Quakers offered four linked sessions of the programme.
Each session began at 6.30pm with soup and rolls. The programmed part of the evening began at 7pm and ended around 9.00pm which left us time for informal chat until 9.30pm.
The programme was free and enquirers about Quakerism were welcome to come to any one session or to all four. The sessions were as follows:
5 May 10 Living with Doubt: Spiritual Journeys
12 May 10 Quakers and Silence
19 May 10 Quakers and Peace
26 May 10 Quakers and Diversity
All the sessions were held held at:
Quaker Meeting House
38 Elmbank Crescent
Glasgow G2 4PS
(near Charing Cross Station)
We thought that it was a very successful programme and we hope to put it on again. We also established a Facebook page for this programme. You can get an idea of how it went by going to: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=106594156039196&ref=ts
