Arran Quaker Meeting

Meeting for Worship

Arran Friends meet weekly. On the second Sunday of each month we have Meeting for Worship at the Library in Main St, Brodick, KA27 8DL. At other times we meet in Friends homes - please contact us for details. Meeting starts at 11.00a.m.

About us

Arran is the largest island in the Firth of Clyde. The ferry (an hour's crossing) sails from Ardrossan on the Ayshire coast into Brodick Bay, below the mountain called Goatfell.

There are a number of  Quakers scattered around Arran at present, and in 2004 Arran meeting became a worshiping group rather than a nominated meeting. Officially we are a part of Ayrshire meeting and the two groups have regular and close contact.
